Japanese style unit
Stained birch ply
This commission arose from the clients love of Japanese design and need for practical storage. There is a section that is lit with LED lighting behind glass doors to display precious objects. The red areas are hand painted Japanese wallpaper that have been integrated into the doors and back panels.

Wine room

This commission was all about making the most of the space available. The cupboard that was to become this wine room had a small foot print but was very high. We took the racking right up to the ceiling to create the maximum amount of storage. The height required a ladder to be integrated and the existing wooden door was removed in favour of a glass one to allow the room and its contents to be viewed as you walk past.

This sideboard was commissioned to house and showcase the client’s music system and vinyl collection. Two cupboards sit either side of four drawers on soft close runners. The random orientation of the blocks which adorn the doors and drawer fronts, create a striking visual pattern, which is offset by the smooth powder-coated steel base it sits on.

We used every piece of available space in this room to create a vast amount of storage and hanging space for the client’s extensive collection of clothing. The dressing table was positioned in front of the window for the natural light. Every surface and edge was veneered by hand in veneer sourced from Italy.

Bar
AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT, BURR WALNUT, BRASS, LEATHER AND GRANITE
This bar, in the basement of a townhouse, forms the hub of an area designed to entertain. The client wanted everything needed to operate a bar integrated into this small space. A sink, dishwasher, fridge freezer, wine cooler and recycling point sit below granite worktops. Wall cabinets sit above, housing glassware and drinks. The choice of materials such as burr walnut, leather and brass were chosen to give a familiar, welcoming and classic feel.
